Posted - 22/06/2009 : 00:00:55 Just a quick post to say, the weather forecasts were divided, some said dry, others said wet, so off I set on a my own on a local 85 mile route taking in the counties of Worcestershire, Staffordshire and Shropshire hoping that it would be dry and warm.
Passing the fields close to Kinver Edge (Staffs) I stopped at the roadside to take some pics which I could later upload to the Bike Pics Site, the weather being quite acceptable.

45 minutes later whilst on Wenlock Edge (Shrops), yes the heavens opened, so, (if I were a smoker) I stopped for a fag break.

Then I headed home via a Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Ludlow, Tenbury and Bewdley. So YET AGAIN I finished the ride with a bucket and sponge job. Yep, yet another weather forecast not to be trusted. |

Posted - 22/06/2009 : 10:41:39 Glad you managed a ride. Now then, would you rather be riding in the rain or cooped up in an office working? I asked myself the same question when I was cooped up in my office on Saturday.... you can guess my answer.
Very arty first pic btw |
