Well I am down to one bike for the first time since about 2001! The FZ has been sold to a colleague and will be heading off to a new home in about a weeks time.
I have really enjoyed owning 'Baby6' as my girls called it and I hope that the new owner enjoys owning her too...
Here are few of my adventures on the old girl:
It all started on a cold December day back in 2006, 216 freezing miles home from Durham after an impulsive ebay session!
 Long cold haul home
The poor weather didn't stop me enjoying the 80's icon
Up at Quattford near Bridgnorth Singing in the rain
The FZ is fun to ride but by mid 2007 the MOT had run out and various time and life pressures meant the old girl got rather forgotton for a while...

So a winter rebuild was needed and new fork seals, a heavily reworked exhaust, a new battery and some fresh oil soon perked the little Yamaha up no end...
She emerges from her slumber
MOT secured the FZ was soon back in it's element once more... back on the road!

More fun ahead
It even got up to Bassetts Pole to hang with all the shiney new superbikes...

Hanging about with the big boys
But the time came to sell, and the FZ is heading off to pastures new. Farewell old friend, you will be fondly remembered.
Right where did I leave that Bike Trader...watch this space!

And would that be yet another Yamaha by any chance? And the model being one of those starting with the letter R and ending with the number 1? |

Mate of mine has a Francis Barnet in boxes in his shed?
Either that or a CX500 Custom?

Oddly enough back in the 1980s I despatch rode on a CX500 Custom and never EVER want to ride one again! You are warmer that Ses and TT though, sort of...
My despatching experiences are here btw http://www.bikemeet.net/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3753 |

Message to Imperial Data......I reckon someone has hacked into Radars account..... The REAL Radar would NEVER stear away from Yamahas But, if this is true I also reckon the News of the World would be very interested in the story. |

| I do loke the CBX, a mate has owned one for over 25 years, but they are a bit pricey for a decent one. Try again... |
